GV Prakash’s makeover for Ravi Arasu

All along, we have been seeing  musician-turned-hero GV Prakash Kumar in ‘local boy’ roles alone. Now, the actor is all set for an image makeover in his next, directed by Ravi Arasu of Eetti fame. Madonna Sebastian, who is on a high with films like KV Anand’s Kavan and Dhanush’s Power Paandi, is touted to play his heroine.

Ravi Arasu says, “Yes, this is the first time GV will be seen in an avatar of a modern guy. He plays a mechanical engineer and has got a suave look. It’s a city-based action thriller and the first look will be revealed soon.”

Probe him about Madonna being approached as the heroine, the filmmaker grins and gives an evasive reply, “All I can say is that I am looking for a girl who should perform well, besides being good looking. It is a solid role and not a usual ‘eye-candy’ heroine character.”

Our sources found out that the Ka Ka Ka Po actress is all set to hear the story soon and the makers hope that there won’t be any reason for Madonna to turn down the offer.

Meanwhile, we also learn that the GV Prakash-Kriti film, Bruce Lee has backed out from the Pongal race, the reason being non-availability of good number of screens. Apparently, Vijay’s 60th movie Bairavaa, which is releasing on January 12, is occupying a major share with 450 plus screens in Tamil Nadu.
